In this current architecture, the coloured polished concrete floor with « Shadow Grey », pigments is in direct contact with the visible foundation walls. The ease of maintenance of polished concrete is welcome, especially in the garage where the owner’s “indulgence” vehicle is stored. In this context, the features of easy maintenance and durability of the product tipped the balance. The polished concrete floor was therefore the optimal choice.

The choice of polished concrete as a floor covering is ideally suited to some of the magnificent creations of the Adornetto firm, such as this residence in the Montérégie region. The use of an exterior finish brought indoors creates a close relationship between the natural environment and the inside of the residence. This design is also supported by the use of large glass panes for the windows and by the glossiness of the polished concrete floor reflecting the beauty of nature on the ground.

Chalet Parc Les Salines

The Parc Les Salines is synonymous with nature. Its name comes from the many saltwater sources located underground. In 1976, the Municipality of Saint-Hyacinthe acquired this territory to make it an open-air base. It is possible to practice many winter sports such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating. It is therefore essential to have a suitable place to receive visitors. The polished concrete floor of this cottage is perfectly adequate. It is durable, tough and easy to maintain.
